Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Meme Video AI ("we", "us") about using this website and its video generator, which turns one photo of a pet, a toy or a character you drew into a short parody video of the hit the road dude meme (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may not use the service where the law, including sanctions or export rules, does not allow it.

Your account

You can sign up with Google or with an email address and password. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. One account is meant for one person, and accounts cannot be sold or transferred.

What you may upload

• Only photos you own or have permission to use for this purpose.
• No photos of real people, including yourself, and no photos of children.
• Nothing illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or meant to harass, deceive or impersonate anyone, and nothing that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, such as characters or logos owned by someone else.

We check every uploaded photo and every finished video automatically and refuse the ones that break these rules. We may also remove content or suspend an account that breaks them. The full rules, what happens when they are broken and how to report content are in our acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms.

Other things you may not do

• Try to get around safety checks, credit charges, unlock rules or usage limits.
• Access the service with bots or scripts, or copy, resell or rebrand it.
• Interfere with the service or other users, or probe it for security weaknesses without our permission.

Your photos and the license you give us

You keep any rights you have in the photos you upload. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit and process your photos and videos only as needed to make and deliver your videos, keep the service safe and comply with the law. This includes sending them to the providers listed in our privacy policy. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not show them to other users or use them in our marketing without your permission.

Your videos

As between you and us, you own the videos you make, to the extent the law allows. You may use them for personal purposes and post them on social media, including your own monetized accounts. You may not present them as real footage of real events or people. Please label them as AI-generated where a platform asks you to.

Keep in mind that AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in every country, that other users can make similar videos from the same reference clip or scene description, and that AI output can be imperfect: we do not guarantee that a video will look exactly like your photo. Download any video you want to keep; we may delete videos when you delete your account or if we stop offering the service.

Our content, parody and no affiliation

The reference clips, scene descriptions, website, design and software belong to us or our licensors. The service lets you make parody videos inspired by a public internet meme, using reference footage and scene descriptions we made ourselves. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the creator of the original video or anyone who appears in it.

Credits

• Each video costs credits according to the quality and length you pick (480p 10 s: 110, 480p 15 s: 165, 720p 10 s: 220, 720p 15 s: 330). The cost is shown before you generate.
• Credits are only for use on this service. They are not money, have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash, except where the law requires.
• Credits from packs do not expire while your account is open.
• Some options unlock with what you have bought: 10-second 720p unlocks with the Creator pack or bigger, and 15-second 720p unlocks after two Creator packs or one Studio pack. Once unlocked, an option stays unlocked. Refunded purchases do not count toward unlocks.
• If a video fails to generate, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.

Payments

• Purchases are sold and processed by Waffo, our merchant of record, which also charges any sales tax or VAT and shows the final price at checkout. Waffo's own terms apply to the payment.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases: you pay once at the price shown on the pricing page, and nothing renews or is charged again.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Credits you already have are not affected.

Refunds

• Credit packs: you can ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been used on your account since you bought it.
• Duplicate or unauthorized charges and billing errors are always refunded once we confirm them. Videos that fail are covered by the automatic credit refund above.
• To ask for a refund, contact us at support@memevideoai.com with your account email and the date of the purchase. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Waffo. When a purchase is refunded, its credits are removed from your balance.
• Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived, such as a statutory right of withdrawal.

Reporting content

If you believe a video made with the service infringes your rights or breaks these terms, contact us at support@memevideoai.com with a description of the content and your reason. We will review it and may remove content or suspend accounts, as described in the acceptable use policy.

Changes to the service

Videos are made by a third-party AI model, so the service can be slow or unavailable at times. We may change, add or remove video formats, templates, options or features. Credits you already have keep working with whatever options are available to your account. If we plan to shut the service down, we will announce it on the site in advance so you have time to use your remaining credits and download your videos.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account yourself on the account page; if you cannot sign in, contact us at support@memevideoai.com. Deleting your account removes your photos, videos and any remaining credits. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk; if we do, unused credits are lost except where the law requires a refund.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or how you used your videos in breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will tell signed-in users on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
