Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated

This policy applies to every photo you upload to Meme Video AI and every video made with it. It is part of our terms of service. The service only makes one kind of video: the pet, toy or character in your photo takes the driver's seat in our hit the road dude scene. You cannot type a prompt; every video is made from fixed instructions that we wrote.

Content that is not allowed

You may not upload, or try to make, any of the following:

  • Pornography and sexual content: nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive images.
  • Violence and gore: blood, injuries, weapons aimed at someone, cruelty to animals.
  • Hate speech: hateful symbols, slurs or content that attacks people for who they are.
  • Child safety: anything that sexualizes or endangers a child, drawn or real. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
  • Deepfakes and impersonation: photos of real people, including yourself, and anything meant to make a real person appear to say or do something. We do not offer face swapping in any form.
  • Copyright and trademark infringement: characters, mascots or logos owned by someone else, such as cartoon, anime, film or game characters, unless you own the rights.
  • Illegal content, drugs, or anything that promotes self-harm.

Where your photos may come from

Upload only photos you took yourself or have permission to use: your own pets, your own toys and characters you drew. Photos of real people are not accepted, even with their permission. Before every video you confirm that you have the right to use the photo and that it does not show a real person.

How we check content

  • Every uploaded photo is checked automatically before anything is charged. A photo that breaks this policy is turned down and no video is made.
  • Every finished video is checked again before you can see or download it. A video that breaks this policy is not kept, and its credits are refunded.
  • The checks use the Qwen vision model on Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. The Kling video model that makes the videos also runs its own safety filter.
  • We keep a record of every check: whether it passed, which rule it broke and why. A person reviews reports and appeals.
  • We review the rules the check uses and update them when we see new kinds of misuse.

Reporting content

If you see a video made with Meme Video AI that breaks this policy, email support@memevideoai.com with a link to it or a description, and why it should be removed. A person reviews every report. Reports about children or real people are handled first.

What happens when the rules are broken

  • The photo or video is refused or removed.
  • Repeated or serious breaks lead to suspending or closing the account. Unused credits on a closed account are lost, except where the law requires a refund.
  • Child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant authorities.

Appeals

If you think a photo or video was refused by mistake, or your account was suspended wrongly, email support@memevideoai.com from your account address. A person looks at it and replies. Refused photos are never charged, so there is nothing to refund for them.
